Title: It’s a toaster and works as such
Review: My old toaster went on the blitz and I needed a new one. Ordered this and it works fine. Has a knob to adjust toast color. Is extremely lightweight and easy for either myself or my elderly mother to pick up. The bottom easily comes down for cleaning of all the crumbs. The slot size is normal but I admit I have not toasted a bagel in it; it looks like it’ll fit with no issues. Seems to be of good quality. Had for months and use it almost daily and no issues at this point.

Title: Toasts Evenly and Consistently, UL Listed, Cost Effective
Review: This is a basic toaster that does exactly what it’s advertised to do. It toasts breads, muffins and bagels of multiple types and sizes evenly and consistently. The various advertised features all work well: settings for different degrees of browning and crispness; a “Cancel” button; a “pop up” option, and true 1.5″ wide slots. It’s very easy to clean, and cord management is on the underside. The toaster is also UL Listed, an important safety criteria for appliances and tech.I give ratings based solely on how well a product delivers on what the seller advertises. This is not a $40, $70 or $100 toaster, and I don’t believe it should be compared to such items. Yes, it is small and lightweight, as indicated in the listing and as I expected. Nonetheless, it works quite well and, as mentioned, offers this the cord management and true extra-wide slots that several much more expensive toasters lack. And, the cost is extremely affordable. Thanks to the manufacturer and seller for a functional, safe and effective product.

Title: Simple, but it works
Review: This is the type of toaster where you get what you pay for. It’s a great toaster for the price. It appropriately toasts my bread, but it feels cheap…if that makes sense. The actual toaster slots are thin. When I put a bagel in it, the edges of the bagel burnt a little from touching the inside of the toaster. Again, it works well for the price!

Title: Less than 9 months later…..a recap
Review: 5.090 people can’t be wrong. The great reviews caught my eye first, then the positive reviews about its light weight, the fact the toast pops up high enough, easy to clean, simple to use, toasts evenly. I was worried the cord might be too short, but even that is perfect! I happily returned the ridiculous one on sale that I had bought two days prior at a local store which was huge, heavy, hard to figure out (believe it or not), beeped three times before popping up not high enough, got way way too hot, and toasted unevenly. Needless to say, I love this little sweet & simple Elite Gormet which cost me $3 less. EDIT: RECAP after having this toaster less than a year: I have no idea how it got so many stars because it does not toast evenly, the wires that toast the bread catch crumbs and start smoking, but worst of all, the lever doesn’t stay down unless I press it about a dozen times. I am used to having a single toaster for years! Am looking for a new one (which I can ill afford, and it will not be this brand!!)

Title: Cheap, Economy, Toaster
Review: My previous toaster was used for quite a while, it stopped functioning correctly after several years of use. The only way to get the toast to pop up early on my old toaster was to unplug it from the wall outlet. I have always purchased inexpensive toasters, been buying them since 1976.This new toaster gets good marks for being stylish and attractive. I’m always looking for a good bargain and this was the most popular toaster sold on Amazon in the listings for a long time, so I went ahead with the purchase. I did read numerous reviews beforehand complaining of uneven browning from the heating elements and many also complained of the toast getting airborne from over energetic springs inside the toaster mechanism.My bread slices do not brown evenly in this toaster. The center heating elements brown the bread twice as fast as the outer heating elements. The only way to use my toaster is to do a double cycle and flip the toast around the second time. If I don’t do this one side of the bread will almost be burned and the opposite side of the bread will be untoasted with no browning shown. As long as I flip the bread around in a double cycle I get good toasting results.When the toast ejects the spring action is very vigorous. Sometimes the toast gets airborne a couple inches but I have not had problems with the toast actually flying out of the unit that I have read about in other reviews posted here.I never did bother returning this toaster back to Amazon because of the low purchase cost. Some Amazon customers seem to like the toaster and give it good marks, however the toaster they sent me should have never even been sold. I have been buying toasters since 1976 and this is the first one that did not work correctly out of the box, consumer beware on your purchase choice here.

Title: Cute little toaster!
Review: This is a nice little toaster. The timer is accurate, it toasts my bread perfectly, and I’ve had no issues with it so far. It’s a little flimsy feeling, and it’s made out of plastic on the exterior. I like the color and so far it’s been great for me.
