Title: Fast, Pretty and Good
Review: It’s a solid toaster that toasts bread and bagels super fast. It looks nice on your counter. It’s extremely efficient. The toast tastes good.I can personally guarantee anyone who reviewed this and complained that it burned their toast or ‘set the toaster on fire’ bought the toaster without understanding what it does, plugged it in without reading any of the instructions, cranked the dial all the way up to 10, slapped some bread in there, and expected some dark toast in 4 to 5 minutes. That’s not how this thing works.You should have this on 4 at MOST, (unless you’re defrosting a waffle or something) – you can run it twice at 3-4 and get perfect toast and it’d still take 1/4 of the time of a regular toaster. If you’re doing something like a pop tart you can probably go with like, 2.Only advice I have past that is to not touch it after it’s been used because it DOES get insanely hot after a single use – and the first time you use it it will emit a weird smell, but it’s gone completely after the first use. Sacrifice a piece of bread if you’re worried, but honestly the toast tasted fine to me, so you’d probably be okay.TLDR; the people complaining about this thing are using it like a regular toaster instead of a high-powered toasting monster

Title: This toaster is so good we bought two! It’s super fast.
Review: We bought one of these toasters this summer at our cottage and loved it. So when our toaster at home died, we happily bought another one of these. We like the simplicity and speed, and it’s easy to clean. We toast a lot of bagels and frozen bread – so the only two buttons get used a lot. Great toaster.

Title: Does not have a working bagel setting and crumb tray is useless!
Review: Where do I start? I can say it is an attractive, extremely well made fit of SS materials and it ends there. in this new world of AI I suppose companies are left with complete idiots as designers and engineers. Right out of the box when I noticed how the crumb tray operated I formed an opinion, boy thats going to make a mess! why it doesn’t have a tray that slides out like I assume all modern day toasters have is beyond me. Next is the bagel function that the toaster boast of having, well it doesn’t. What is has is a button thats non functional. normally the top of a toaster has stamped into it’s metal components an icon of a bagel with cut sides in towards center of toaster. This toaster has warnings “hot surfaces” in three languages, excuse me there at Black+Decker, question, is that for your idiots? Myself, I know not to touch metal surfaces that cook, learned that when I was a baby, has stuck with me ever sense! It would have been nice, in my opinion, if Black+Decker would have put this toaster through the simple test of functionality, they too would have discovered these two important functions of a simple appliance, A non working bagel setting with a useless crumb tray. If you are looking to buy an attractive toaster that does not do bagels the way bagels are meant to be toasted and you can live with the flawed crumb tray get the toaster. for You there at Black+Decker, send this one back to design and get it right this time! I WILL BE SENDING THIS ONE BACK.

Review: I purposely went online to see if a rapid cooking toaster actually existed and found this gem. My current toaster was taking several minutes to toast. It was driving me crazy, so I found this toaster and decided to try it. It literally can toast to your deired setting in under a minute and we love it! Its legit!

Review: Shopping for toasters online on amazon i’ve quickly learned that a lot of people are crazy fussy about their toast lol.I’m not usually a fan of B&D appliances as i’ve simply never had a good experience with them. But my girlfriend bought one of these and i just fell in love with it, it has all the right features, toasts very quickly and evenly, looks fantastic and self-centers the toast to ensure even toasting. i really can’t ask for more. for the price, this is a steal.

Review: This is a nice fast toaster. We struggled to find a toaster that was 1000 watts or over that wasn’t 4 slice. This is 1200 watts. It looks great. A little bit of plastic smell the first 2-3 uses but then gone. The one thing I notice is that the top of the slice toasts more than the bottom but it’s still a nice toasting. Would buy this again. Not a bad price. Fast ship.

Review: This toaster makes toast. It had a nice defrost feature and it will take wide loads and hugs what ever size bread you but in there nicely. It also has a handy cancel button it you just want to drop it in for a few extra seconds. The toasting isn’t always 100% even, but that never really occurred to me as a problem until I read other reviews here. My husband is in love with it.
