Title: Excellent microwave
Review: After my 13 yr old Panasonic Inverter microwave died recently, I immediately purchased another. I had read reviews and trusted the appliance after having a good experience with my old one. It was HORRIBLE! I won’t list the details. It certainly wasn’t made up to the standards of the old Panasonic. I decided to return it. Because I loved my Breville Smart Mini toaster oven, I ordered this Breville microwave. I am beyond thrilled with it. Besides looking svelte, it is QUIET! The buttons and knob are simple to use. I prefer them to a touchpad that is sometimes difficult to read and doesn’t recognize my touch. The soft close door is a joy. The Breville does not move around on the countertop just from opening or closing the door. Though I haven’t used all the cooking options, the Breville cooks well. It hasn’t yet reheated an entree to the consistency of cardboard. Every day this Breville microwave makes me happy! (I rarely review my purchases. I felt I had to praise this appliance.)

Title: I Love this Microwave
Review: My Mini-600 Watt .5 cu ft microwave died after 20 years, so I was initially looking for a cheap $70 dollar-range microwave to replace it, but when I saw this I knew this was exactly what I needed, and it was definitely worth the extra money. First, I LOVE the way it looks, it’s modern and clean looking and fits in my kitchen perfectly. The 2nd thing I love is the dial/knob to set the time, turn gently right and it starts at 30 seconds, and you can dial in any exact time within seconds, or just press the green button to add 30 second increments. The 3rd thing I LOVE is the ability to MUTE ALL BEEPS with a simple press of the mute button. This stays activated until you un-mute it, or you unplug it. The 4th thing I love is the quiet-door-close. I love how gently and quietly it closes, and it’s actually a very pleasing noise. Makes it seem high-end. The 5th thing I love is how easy it is to change the POWER-LEVEL, from 100% and step-down in 10% increments. This is a new feature for me and I love being able to very gently microwave things with reduced wattage. The Microwave is very powerful and heats foods really well and evenly. I definitely recommend this microwave.

Title: So easy to use
Review: My old GE microwave died and I rushed out to buy a replacement. I shouldn’t have rushed. The new one had a touchpad that was not very responsive – I had to really press hard. It also had a button to open the door instead of a handle. More importantly, it would trip the circuit breaker if I used my coffeemaker or air fryer at the same time. After two weeks, I gave it away and ordered this Breville. It has a dial, which is so much better than a keypad. The soft close door with a handle is great. Importantly, I can use my air fryer or coffeemaker at the same time. One little nitpick – I have to be careful when I take a dish out of the oven so I don’t dislodge the glass turntable. It’s smaller than my previous microwaves but it’s big enough for my needs.

Title: New purchase — we’ll see!
Review: Most countertop micros in this size range don’t last long. We’ll see how this one does. It arrived in good condition, when promised. It’s attractive and fits my small space. Unusual controls, but intuitive. The “soft-close” door isn’t that quiet. It does have the crucial “mute” button to silence beeps. Hard to find in this size unit. Note that the exterior is not real stainless, but painted silver. How will that hold up?

Title: Decent Compact Microwave… UPDATE 1: Another one bites the dust! 2: Returned
Review: This microwave is ideal for a small kitchen with limited counter space. Although some dislike it, I actually like the dial. It is a quick and easy way to set the timer. The display is very easy to see being bright blue. The soft close door is a great, unique feature that should be on every make. Another positive point with the microwave is how quiet it is while running. This is the quietest one that I have ever owned. I do not like the cheap gray plastic both inside and outside. I miss the stainless steel interior (and exterior) of my prior Cuisinart microwave. It makes the microwave much classier and the food splatters so easy to clean up while it brightens the interior. It would be an appropriate upgrade for this Breville at this price point. Although it does not look like a $75 Walmart prize, it certainly does not look up to Breville standards by any means.UPDATE: Well, after eight months it is dead. It started making odd noises for a month and then it died. The faint hum has turned into complete silence! Pay attention to all the reviews people. This microwave has horrible reliability issues… and then there is the Breville customer service which matches… still waiting on somebody to contact me. Breville shame on you. This is going into the trash and purchasing another brand.UPDATE 2: I kept trying the customer service number for over a week and finally got somebody to answer by timing the call right at their 8:00am opening. I am reversing my one star up to three as I am impressed by their repair actions. I was immediately sent a UPS label and had to take it to the local UPS Store. The UPS Store boxed and padded the microwave for the return trip at no cost to me. The Breville rep (Laura) said the turnaround is averaging 7 business days which is acceptable. Currently waiting… Also, I did purchase another microwave as we have become so dependent on one. It is a Panasonic and I am not impressed. It is an upper-class inverter type and it is crazy loud! Immediately missed the Breville soft close and alarm silence features, too. The Panasonic will be delegated to the garage once I receive the repaired Breville.UPDATE 3: Breville repair has deemed mine toast and they have placed an order for a new replacement. It has shipped and I am waiting for its arrival. Up to four stars 🌟
