Title: I adore my simple and sleek Bodum toaster
Review: This is my second Bodum toaster of this exact model. After our brown one died after at least 7-8 years of daily use, we got the white/ivory one. It is slightly different than the picture, as the dial and lever knob on ours are actually black, not red. Looks better and more high end in person than in the photo in my opinion. This is a nice, simple, modern looking toaster that looks so good and sleek in my kitchen. It stays cool to the touch with its unique almost rubberized looking matte finish. It makes reliable quality toast every time. I am very pleased with this model and have have no complaints whatsoever. It has a handy little expandable wire rack on top that can be opened with a lever that provides a place to put pitas or buns that you want to warm over the top of the toaster slots.

Title: It must be a bad spring or something
Review: I have only had this toaster for about a month, and when I was making toast this morning, the lever to lower the bread into the toaster refused to stay down. It must be a bad spring or something. Whatever it is, it’s unusable now. I am so bummed. I had my previous Bodum toaster for almost 8 years before I needed to replace it.

Title: You get what you paid for.
Review: Does everything it promises and does it very well. Love the defrosting and warming features which are unique to many toasters. The wide slots make it easy to toast thick bagels. Quality workmanship.

Title: This is one cool toaster.
Review: I admit it. No one should love a toaster this much. It is just such a refreshing design. It does do a good job toasting but even if it didnât I would enjoy looking at it.

Title: Worth the Price
Review: After going through a lot of $20 toasters which failed after a few months we decided to try this Bistro toaster – 11 years ago. It is still going strong and works marvelously. Highly recommended.

Review: I do like the look of this toaster, I have a matching bodum coffee bean grinder. Cant really see it in the pictures but this toaster has a defrosting rack that pops up with a slide of a button, nice little unexpected feature. The slots are wide enough for a bagel. The toasting is consistent. I would have given this toaster a 5 but the slide mechanism takes a little pressure and doesnt feel very solid, when I first used iI was able to push the slide down enough to stick but not enough to turn on. A solid press is required. Seems trivial but a toaster doesnt have many functions and the main function is not perfect.
