Title: Xlnt inexpensive toaster.
Review: Performs as well or better than the DASH toaster I purchased at the same time. I’m keeping both toasters, because I want the DASH toaster for my RV that has a cover on it to keep out dust/debris when not being used. This Chefman toaster is simple, works well, and replaces an old toaster in my home with a small kitchen. This is an xlnt choice for a versatile inexpensive toaster.Pro:Mostly plastic on exterior which I prefer over ss.Defrost mode worked well when I prepared frozen waffles for breakfast.Worked well on bagels when using the bagel button.No noticeable smoking or odor upon first use.Con:Took off one star because it arrived in an open retail box with no instructions, or documentation of any kind.Darkest setting would not toast english muffins enough for my taste wo further toasting.Pull-out crumb tray is narrow (about 1/2) width of toaster – I don’t know yet how well it will function.

Title: Does not toast evenly
Review: This is a terrible toaster. I have tried numerous settings and it almost burns one side of the bread and hardly toasts the other side. (This is on the normal toaster setting, not on the bagel setting). Very disappointed

Title: Works great!
Review: I did research on toasters for a couple days (looking at reviews and prices) and even tho it had longer shipping time, it was worth it! It was the only one I didn’t see any bad reviews for! It will totally fit bagels but I haven’t tried. Toasts great, I only use setting 1 and 2, or 3 for my husband he likes his darker. Works great, and doesn’t scare me when it pops. Has a light to let you know it’s toasting, and you can easily cancel it. First time I used it I didn’t push it down firm enough, it can be a bit tricky there. But overall I love my toaster! Great price and toasts great!

Review: Looks good on the counter and works well. Toast, waffles, bagels, english muffins all come out great. Test the different settings to find your best toasting. Lights up when set and can use cancel button.

Title: Breaks easily
Review: I wanted a medium quality toaster that would last through average wear and tear. This toaster is thoroughly disappointing. The metal piece on the bottom left side bent after maybe 3 uses, so it’s a fight to get the bread out of that side every time I use it. It also doesn’t spring up when it’s done toasting, which I thought was one consistent feature for all toasters. Cheap plastic finish all around. I wish I bought a more expensive toaster because this one is not worth the price.
