Review: I just used this wonderful little machine for the third time. I just had two of the most delicious hot dogs that I have ever eaten in my 67 1/2 years on this planet. I am not even a big fan of hot dogs. But this baby’s came out perfect! Juicy, but we’ll done with a slight burn just like I like them! Clean up isn’t too bad, definitely not a deal breaker. Yes it has a plastic door and the wire basket bun rack is flimsy. But at this price point you can’t go wrong. My unit arrived with one side of the wire bun basket detached from the door. I managed to bend it back in and it works fine. Bottom line..treat her gently but firmly and you will enjoy the result’s..COOK WITH THE LID UP..NEVER DOWN WHEN PLUGGED IN!! ENJOY YOUR DOGS!

Review: I am most impressed with this roller. It cooks the hot dogs on all rollers evenly. I have restaurant roller I use and I would say it does just as well except that this does for does and the other does twelve. Oh, another obvious factor $38.00 vs $ 270.00.

Title: with that little timer you dont have to worry about burning the hot dogs
Review: nice little machine. it cooked the dogs slowly, took 30 to 40 minutes to cook large thick sausages but at least it does not burn them. you set the timer and go about your business. it is not easy to clean though. i use a mild to medium lightly dampened SMALL piece of scotch brite square with little dish soap. and that cleans the round cooking tubes quickly without hurting the stainless steel. every so often i turn on the motor which turns the rollers around so i can clean all the sides. as long as you dont turn on the timer, the rollers will not get hot. the drip pan is a really good thing, it keeps grease or drippings in one place easy to remove the pan and clean that part. that clear plastic lid MUST be kept open because those round cooking tubes put out a ton of heat and they will WARP that clear plastic lid if you leave it closed over the cooking hot dogs. they should of made that lid metal. nice thing is it cooks slowly so there is not much if any grease splatter from the cooking hot dogd. but being able to close the lid would aid in cooking the weiners faster plus stop ANY splatter from happening. i guess any splatter would depend on what susage or hot dogs your cooking. i actually had no splatter occuring

Title: Plastic door grill hinges
Review: The little hot dog cooker cooks well, but the. bun warmer plate and grill pivot. on plastic hinges. which after a while turn into what the pictures look like. They’re very brittle and that will break And then the grill part. that holds the bun warmer plate. goes to the top. In other words, it comes off. and then you can’t get your buns warm. I think I’ve had this a couple of months I use it all the time. So it’s just a bad design. But if you don’t want your buns warm. the cooker rollers still work.

Title: Great idea but not practical
Review: I thought this would be so fun for my birthday party but it actually took so long to heat up the hotdogs. I didn’t feel like it was worth my money and it not worth having around for party purposes. If you have a bigger family, this might be a good option for cooking hot dogs but for a party, it’s not practical.

Review: I did not put the lid down when the hot dogs were cooking because I heard it could melt the lid. I only use the lid to keep that part clean during storage. The hot dogs come out really tasty and are even tastier if you boil them first and then put them on the hot dog maker. It is fun to use and doesnt take up too much space. It comes with a built in timer. The buns warm and then toast very slowly. You dont have to worry about them burning.
