Title: Remember, ovens get hot…!
Review: Now that I’ve used the Elite Gourmet countertop toaster, convection, rotisserie oven for toast, pizza, chicken, turkey, and Swedish meatballs, it’s time to give my honest evaluation: I love it!A little background and why I chose this product: I recently had to move into affordable housing and still will pay for gas and electricity. I’m now on a fixed income. The first time I used the apartment’s oven, my apartment went from 68° to 77°. It took all afternoon for it to cool down. I started to look for a good quality countertop unit with a rotisserie. I was about to purchase one costing nearly $300 which was rated close to 5 stars. But nearly all of the 1 star reviews said the same thing, there was an odor that wouldn’t go away, the materiel was flimsy, and the rotisserie function was faulty. Always go to the 1 star reviews first. If they say the same thing, look for something else or see for yourself at a local store if you can find the item. I did. So back to searching I went and came across Elite Gourmet with only 4 stars. Plus it was offered at over 50% off. The 1 star reviews were varied. Amazingly, they were from people who obviously didn’t read the instructions or realize that they were dealing with a miniature oven. And ovens get hot. Even the beautiful Brevilles have problems, plus none of them have a rotisserie. So I bought the Elite Gourmet and I’m so glad I did. My apartment never heats up when I use it.Some advice if you are getting this or any countertop oven: READ THE INSTRUCTIONS. After wiping it down and prior to first use, set the oven function, not the convection function, to 450° and heat it for around 15 minutes or so. There will be a slight odor, but it will dissipate. I waited for it to cool down and wiped it with a clean damp cloth again before using it.Next, get familiar with the appliance and its accompanying accessories. Practice removing the baking sheet and wire racks using the tool that comes with the oven. Attach and remove the rotisserie rod. If you aren’t sure or have never used the type of rotisserie attachments included, go to YouTube and watch a video. Make sure you have the racks in properly before placing or removing items, especially heavy ones. Last, remember to wear oven mitts. The elements are much closer to your hands then the ones on larger ovens and they get just as hot. Also, use just the oven function, which is at the off position on the function dial, when you make toast. The convection function will dry out your toast. The Elite Gourmet has beautiful French style doors and fits beautifully in the corner of my counter. It’s convenient, well-priced, and performs wonderfully. This is not an airfryer, but using the convection feature can sometimes perform the same or better depending on what you are making.Hope this review helps you if you’re looking for a countertop oven.

Title: Large capacity!
Review: This convection oven is amazing. You can cook all types of things in it like fries, steak, pizza, bagels, chicken tenders, etc. My 13-year-old daughter can work it by herself and can make all types of snacks after school in it and she loves it. Love the look of it. It looks and works as described. It works great at reheating food. It makes the food crispy and not soggy as in the microwave. I like that it has simple settings, because my previous one had all kinds of buttons, and it took me forever to figure out how to set it to what I wanted. The interior light really helps with cooking. I like the that it has more than one rack so you can cook multiple things at one time. We took it with us camping due to our camper does not have an oven and it worked perfect for baking garlic bread to go with our spaghetti and biscuits to go with breakfast. It arrived on time. I would recommend this oven.

Title: Excellent oven, but not for a countertop
Review: This excellent larger toaster oven has more features than a full sized oven, but also some drawbacks. If you have cabinetry above your counters, you do Not want to put this oven on your countertop because it generates a massive amount of heat out of its upper surface – something you do not want a mere 4 inches from the bottom of your cabinets. It also loses a lot of heat out of its front, because it has no gasket and minimal seal around the doors. Speaking of the doors: they flop loosely when open, which means one door keeps closing on you while you’re working if you have an old house like mine that has settled over time leaving counters, built-in stove and all just a little wonky. I Love the interior light when it’s on, not only for knowing at a glance that it’s running, but also because you don’t have to open the oven to check if what you’re cooking may need more or less time. Being able to cook a full sized pizza without having to heat up the whole kitchen using the regular oven is a huge advantage, and this oven will cook 2 at a time. The large interior easily accommodates a 3-quart casserole or 2 side-by-side bread pans. Overall many more pluses than minuses, and I’ll be getting a Lot of use out of this oven.

Title: great value and works great
Review: nice and big. works well. only down side is the doors just swing on their own when open. to avoid getting burned, to keep them open, you have to pull the tray out a little bit. not a big deal. the doors close with magnets

Review: This oven works very well. It has an impressive interior capacity, and cooks well. Unlike other ovens it holds the set temperature, and allows for different Broil and Bake settings. One thing it doesn’t have: A rear vent that blows heat into the room and wastes power. While the exterior – particularly the top – get hot during operation, this oven doesn’t loose heat and energy unnecessarily. We put dinner plates on the top during cooking, warming them before use.We placed the oven on a level, stable surface so the doors fit well, and the magnetic latch holds them closed. The convection fan is quiet (so far) and the built-in light really helps. One of the biggest points is the option of using pans up to 15.5″ wide x 12.5″ deep.Based on our experience so far, I would recommend this oven as an economical, large capacity appliance.
