Title: Super Cute
Review: I really love the color palette that they used for these toy appliances. I think that they are incredibly cute, which is why I gave them a shot. I knew that my nieces would love them, but, with the super nice price point, I wasn’t sure what the quality of these toys would be. I am impressed with the function and construction quality as well as the appearance of the appliances. The food items are a little generic, but everything else is pretty great. You receive four appliances: a toaster, a stand mixer, a coffee machine, and a juicer. The appliances have light and/or sound effects, but you do need a small screwdriver and (I believe it was 10) AA batteries. The toaster can be pressed down, with a sound effect, and then popped up by turning the knob on the front. There is a switch atop the stand mixer that makes it light up and spin. The juicer has a blade inside that spins as well as a watery sound effect, which you operate by pressing the button on the front. The coffee pot has light and sound, but you need to continue to press its button/switch down because once you release it the effects stop. The accessories that they provide coordinate with the appliances because there is a coffee cup and a juice/smoothie cup and there are two slices of bread for the toaster, etc. The button on the juicer sticks sometimes and I need to unstick it for my nieces, but everything else works perfectly. The spinners even spin with a toy inside, although two toys is too many and they won’t really move. Also, the mixer sometimes flings the foods. There are no volume controls so they can be loud, especially if they run more than one appliance at once. The girls have a blast playing with these toys, though, and so I would recommend them!
