Title: It gets hot to the touch, not a cool touch toaster, but quick!
Review: My other brand was cool to the touch, much more high end looking, beautiful red paint, but after only three years the levers would not stay down- so it was useless-but much less money ( in the high 30’s instead of 60 bucks) It seems a cool touch toaster takes much longer, this one shoots up toasted bread must faster! The true test is to see if this brand & price point add to the life of the toaster. It seems the days of my childhood toaster lasting 25 years is a by-gone era. In short, the jury is still out on this brand. For 60 bucks, this review won’t indicate if this toaster stood the test of time, past the warranty period. However, at this moment, the browning appears quick, efficient, and the style is cute. I went with this brand because it was next day delivery. The similar retro toasters required 4-7 days longer, which would mean no toast for my husband for about a week. Fingers crossed, this one won’t be a disappointment. Amazon delivery was astounding, even during the worst thunderstorm! I thought for sure the delivery would be delayed til the next morning, but they were true to their word. Amazon’s reliability is unmatched!

Title: Cute but maybe too powerful
Review: This item is on the bulkier side but it’s such a pretty color and style that I don’t mind. I find that it’s made well and performs very well. My only issue is that it goes from 0 to 100 when browning toast. I always stay below the 3rd heat setting otherwise I risk burning everything I make. Temperature controls are easy to use and overall pretty happy with the purchase.
