Title: No more getting startled when the toaster is done!
Review: In my opinion, this may be the best toaster available at this price range. Well, maybe wait until it goes on sale. Because I got the 2nd level of these toasters for $130. The one that’s now $200 (at the time of this review). It’s the one that’s color is called “Black-1.”Anyway, this is an awesome toaster. You just pick the kind of thing you’re going to be toasting, and then pick one of the 7 browning levels. Probably what’s the most impressive about this toaster is that it takes way less time to toast things than a traditional toaster does. The automatic lifting and lowering of the toast is awesome too of course. And so is the ability to keep toast warm after it’s done. If or when you need to do so.

Title: A quality product and good looking too
Review: I’ve been using this daily for 3 months, functions perfectly. Toasts bread evenly on both sides. Breadpops out normally, clearing the toaster nicely. The sides of the toaster are not hot, the defrost feature worksvery well. The toaster is slimmer than most. The timer is a useful feature & the lights make the toasterespecially attractive.

Title: Great feature that worked for 45 days
Review: 5 star rating on the design and options. A 1 star rating on the reliability. This gives it an overall rating of 2 as reliability is more important than looks or cool features. The toaster has nice features that allow it to reheat, cook bagel style meaning it only cooks on the inside burners, it can use just one side of the toaster at a time so if you only need 1 slice of bread you’re not using the hole toaster – just the one slot. On my toaster the computer stopped working properly. So when I put it on the bread cycle both sides of the burners are supposed to go on and cook the toast somewhat evenly on both sides. About halfway through the cycle, now, the inside elements turn off so that only the outside elements are working. This only toasts half of the bread all the way and the other half part of the way. I have to then change the toaster to bagel cycle and cook the toast again this time cooking only the inside and not the outside of the toast so that they become even. The malfunctiom is After the 30 days so I cannot return It on Amazon and will have to contact the company to see what they will do. It appears it has some nice features but is not well made or it wouldn’t be having problems after just 45 days of use.

Title: Toasts great but needs better instructions
Review: When I first toasted a couple of slices of bread on the third setting it burned so I tried the next lighter setting and it was too light. I used the darker setting and stopped toasting 15 seconds early. Perfect. However this was what I had to do with my old toaster. I could not find good instructions on how to use the custom setting so I experimented with the settings until I finally have perfect toast. How to use the custom setting information would be great.I like the clock, but would like a 12-hour digital AM/PM instead of the 24-hour one. Also, why won’t the calendar change daily without touching the screen? If you don’t make toast for a few days the calendar won’t change.I believe that people that design kitchen appliances should have to use them in their home and CLEAN them themselves so they can design them for easier cleaning. There is a 1/4″ wide by 1/2″ deep gutter around the toasting area where crumbs fall down into and must be vacuumed out. I believe this gutter is for a cover to fit into in another model. If this gutter was eliminated, the crumbs could just be brushed into the toasting slots so they would fall into the crumb tray. How about a chrome insert for this gutter that would flatten the top of the toaster for those of us who don’t want to vacuum out the crumbs weekly? You could sell it separately. I would buy it. I did buy a thin plastic overlay for the touch screen that cuts down the fingerprints from Amazon that works great.
