Title: Worth the money~ you do get what you pay for!
Review: Unfortunately toasters, like everything else, have become cheaper in quality, performance and longevity even though price points have continued to rise. I had this brand toaster for 7 years and it recently broke. I first tried to replace it with a 50.00 price point toaster. When it arrived there were plastic parts and it didn’t even toast evenly. I quickly returned and went back to zwilling with confidence. It’s worth the money. The extra long size does allow for artisan breads and the toast quality is fantastic. I would highly recommend

Title: Great beautiful toaster
Review: This is our first high end toaster, we previously had multiple two slot budget toaster like Hamilton Beach etc.This is definitely worth the money! We love the long two slots that fit 4 slices or our homemade longer slices of bread. Bagels and frozen waffles also fit great! It’s easy to use and for the first time we are actually using the different modes (defrost, warm, bagel). Eggo waffles are a staple in our house and this toasts them perfectly, with our old toaster we always had to to toast twice. The toaster looks beautiful, it’s a black metal exterior that will get pretty warm (just like any toaster) and it works well in our modern, simple kitchen.

Title: Does not work, and more…
Review: Toaster does not work. I’m disappointed in the lack of quality control, given the price point. The lever does not stay down when pressed. Once the toaster warms up (by manually holding the lever down for a couple minutes), the lever will stay down and toast normally. Then, once the unit cools down, the latch again does not work.Also, the “cool touch” claim is way over-stated: this model is not cool at all; the entire outside is either warm (at the lowest setting), hot (at medium settings), or absolutely dangerously hot (at the higher settings). Again, I’m surprised and disappointed.still, it does look very nice and feel solid.

Title: Pricey but works great.
Review: This toaster looks and works very well and is easy to navigate settings. There are two reasons I didn’t give 5 stars, and those are the price and the power cord. You could buy 5 or 6 other toasters for what this cost but it is well made and toasts perfectly depending on your taste and settings. The cord is on the front (a little weird), so it’s a little awkward, especially when storing. For the money, I would expect a retractable cord.

Title: Doesn’t toast evenly. Underperforms our cheap toaster.
Review: The one positive is that the longer toaster is the way to go! It allows either longer slices of bread or two slices of bread on each side.We bought this toaster as a Christmas gift for my parents, which lasted about 3 weeks before they were ready to send it back. I don’t understand what makes one toaster so much more expensive than another, but it has one basic job and that is to toast bread. Unfortunately, this is an expensive toaster that did a poor and inconsistent job of that one thing it had to do. The crusts were often burnt while the middle was unevenly toasted. And this was with normal packaged, sliced bread from the grocery store. Nothing fancy. The lever to push down also didn’t work very well and often wouldn’t stay down. The cord also comes out in a weird space, making my parents say “Huh!?!” when they first unpackaged it and plugged it in.Sufficed to say we returned the toaster and will look for something else. My $30 toaster toasts nice and evenly and beats the pants off this fancy toaster every day of the week. So I do not recommend!

Title: Poor Design, Poor Build – just not Worth the Premium Pricetag…
Review: Even though this product is made in china, for a German-designed product, I expected above average design and above average ‘build quality’. The Zwilling Endinigy meets neither of these expectationsThe DESIGN QUALITY is certainly acceptable but falls short of the well- thought out products I’ve usually encountered from a German company. In this case the design shortcomings for me center around the materials used. I received the ‘black’ version of the product and found the combination of Matt black sides, shiny black top and bright chrome toaster slot unit to be uniquely difficult to keep clean and looking good. When I first unboxed the unit, I casually brushed away some light colored ‘specs’. Little did I know that the issue of specs of ‘stuff’, finger prints and smudges from nowhere, seem maddeningly attracted to the shiny black top and chrome toasting slots. The Matt black side panels seem fine and would have been a better choice for the top. The combination of shiny top and matt back sides does seem awkward. So, you can tell I care how things look and want to be able to easily keep them clean – no happening with this toaster.Regarding the QUALITY OF THE BUILD, the Zwilling unit seems no equal to our $29 – Krups Toaster whose untimely death after 20 years we deeply regret. There is a shaky, springy, metallic ‘feel’ to the toast lowering and ‘pop up’ mechanism – just like the $30-50 units we saw in stores. The shiny black top panel doesn’t align well with the matt back sides of the unit – another shortcoming that reflects poorly on both design and build quality categories.We really wanted to buy the incredibly- beautiful Braun Toaster, but sadly, it’s only available in the EU. We had hoped the Zwilling would come close. It’s just not even in the same league.

Review: I got rid of my old toaster when I purchased an air fryer/toaster oven. The air fryer delivered a less than complete toasting. It was a very one sided affair. This Zwilling toaster toasts all sizes of bread as well as bagels 🥯 though I haven’t had it very long but I am very happy with its performance and quality.

Review: The best thing about this toaster is probably its sleek and modern lookIt looks and feels very high quality !It does its job, which is “toasting” bread … But that s a simple job that many other toasters can do as wellThe price is the worst thing though …Not sure if the difference in price between this toaster and the average price point of toasters in the market can be justified by how well it does its job …Again its hard to beat this toaster from an esthetic standpoint though !
