Title: Great quality!
Review: I had to recently replace a toaster I have had forever, and was not to happy. I loved that toaster!! I was a little worried about finding one I would like as much. I found one I like better in this one. It has a great design and it works wonderfully. It is affordable and the quality is wonderful!

Title: Works great for bagels!
Review: I had previously got a “top rated” 2 slice toaster that blows. This toaster is GREAT! Has a little guide to remind you which side of the bagel goes out vs in, and warms the rounded side while toasting the cut side. This toasts BOTH sides of toast, is easy to use, easy to clean and I love the extra “lift” that’s available with the handle – no trying to reach in to get it a out, the handle gives you over an extra inch.

Title: Does the job
Review: We had the older model but when my wife tried cleaning it, it wouldn’t work after wards, so we needed to buy a new one. We liked the appearance and stability of the old one so this was as close as we could find, good value for the money. The one side toasts a little lighter but no big deal, once you put a good heaping of peanut butter on the toast you can’t tell the difference

Review: Pros I love the space of where you’re able to insert the bagel or toast it’s nice and wide. Toasted bagels very nicely. The only con was the small label on the toaster that gave you directions for which way to put in bagels.I would definitely recommend this especially if there’s more than one person in your family.

Title: Very high quality and durability!!
Review: I purchased this item to replace the same one I had purchased back in 2005. Yes, it lasted that long! After almost 20 years it finally started to slow down, not toasting plus sparks every now and then. Hamilton Beach is a great brand and I expect this toaster will last till my grandkids get married in another 20 yrs!😅

Title: Perfect Toasting Every Time
Review: I had the previous version of this 4 slice toaster and found it to be one of the most durable and well built appliance in my kitchen. It was used by 6 children and several grandchildren daily until the push down handle on one side wouldn’t work any lone AFTER 13 years.The new model I just bought appears to be just as well built and I like the controls more especially the defrost feature. HIGHLY RECOMMEND and great value for the money.

Title: Wouldn’t buy it again.
Review: We had one of these toasters some years ago and, as I remember, it worked good for whatever toasting job we needed. It was new and well packed without any visible damage or scratches. It actually has a metal outer shell and isn’t all plastic like most toasters these days. This new toaster, though, comes up short in a lot of ways. For what little regular toasted bread we need, it toasts the top 3/4 of one side fine, but the bottom 1/4 edge of one side is barely toasted, and the back side is slightly burned. English muffins (which we use the most) are barely toasted during one full cycle, even on the highest setting. It takes almost two full toasting cycles to fully toast an English muffin. And the same goes with Pop Tarts. We’ll live with it for now, but will not buy another one or recommend it.

Review: Stay away from the 3rd party seller called “Unbeatable Specials”. Product was sold as “Used – Like New – New – Open box”, but it’s not “like new” or “new”, it’s defective. One lever does not stay down when pushed down to begin toasting so two of the 4 toast slots are useless. I’ve requested a return & refund which was approved, but the return instructions state that I must pay the shipping cost and the refund is an Amazon gift card rather than a refund to my credit card. Why should I pay the shipping cost for a product you sold to me that is defective? This is awful service.UPDATE – the return shipping cost was $27. Great…cost me $27 to receive a defective product and ship it back. Never again.
