Title: Who knew I’d love this so much!
Review: I bought this when my double oven was broken and would take 5 weeks to get repaired, thinking I’d put it away when I got my oven back. But no! I love this so much, it heats so fast, cooks great, easy to clean. Why did I not get one of these sooner?! The only thing I cook in my big oven now is things like batches of cookies of muffins that won’t fit. But I toast all bread types in it, I bake fish, 9″ pizzas, just about anything that will fit in it. Faster and cooks as well as my big one. Only one drawback — it does put out more heat than I though it would. But sure not as much as my big oven. Oh, and I LOVE the roll up top — so easy to check and remove food, and it comes right off for easy cleaning. Love this product and this model.

Review: So, this is your basic, no frills toaster oven. It toasts. Slowly. It has a small footprint which is great for our limited counter space . I don’t “cook” in a toaster oven, but this can handle a baked potato or a foil wrapped left-over. The exterior gets insanely hot; be forewarned.The game changer here is the ROLL TOP DOOR!!I never knew that I needed this in my life!Easy in, easy out, easy to keep clean and I can put my plate in front of it and slide out my bagel. Small victories, ya know?

Title: Wonderful toaster oven
Review: When I started to look for a replacement for my “ancient” toaster oven, I was disappointed to find the majority of options had increased functionality and size that I just didn’t want or need. This Hamilton Beach oven does just what I need it to do without taking up valuable counter space. I’ve tried the various cooking modes (toast, bake, broil), and it worked flawlessly, once I figured out the time and temperature settings that worked best. But, what really sells this toaster oven is the door! It’s an ingenious design, which made me wonder why it’s taken so long for a manufacturer to realize one of the biggest inconveniences of the old toaster oven. To open, the Hamilton Beach door rolls back, instead of forward and down. So the door takes up NO space on the counter in front of the oven.I’m very pleased with this oven.

Title: No More Pop-up Toasters For Me
Review: I have tried several pop-up toasters over the last year, one of which was recalled by the manufacture due to a risk of fire. After the recall I always unplug my toasters or plug them into a QVS PA-1P Single-Port Power Adapter with On/Off Switch so that I can completely cut off power to it. The problem with most pop-up toasters is you can’t find the correct setting to get the toast cooked exactly the way I like it; it’s either too dark and hard or to light and soft. I had to constantly stand over the toaster and hit the cancel button every few seconds to make the toast pop up so that I could see it’s progress and repeat until the toast was the way I like it.With the Hamilton Beach 31334 Easy Reach Toaster Oven, Metallic I no longer have any of the problems, listed above, with pop-up toasters. This toaster has a temperature dial that measures up to 450 Degrees for baking and a timer dial that maxes out at 30 minutes and includes a toast setting. I have cooked plain toast, buttered toast, and cheese toast in my Hamilton Beach 31334 Easy Reach Toaster Oven, Metallic using the toast setting and all came out of the oven just the way I like them. I’ve also cooked Pillsbury frozen biscuits in the oven and they also came out perfect although I had to lower the recommended temperature during the cooking cycle to keep the top from burning. Since the oven is small cooking times and temperatures may need to be adjusted which can result in energy savings.The instruction manual states that you can bake with this oven but you will need small pans. The oven includes a wire toast rack, a small pan measuring 8″X10″ that resembles a mini cookie sheet, and the crumb tray that sits in the bottom of the oven underneath the heating element. Two pans that I’ve found useful that will fit inside this oven are Granite Ware F0622 Better Browning 8-Inch Round Cake Pan and Granite Ware F0623 Better Browning 9 by 5-Inch Loaf Pan however the loaf pan is tall and sits very close to the upper heating element.The oven is a metallic colour that coordinates with my black and stainless kitchen. It’s compact in size and only 3″ wider than my pop-up toaster that it replaced. It’s also light weight if you have to move it around. My favourite feature is the roll top lid for “easy reaching” into the oven. This feature is what originally sold me on the oven and I love it. I can see my toast cooking without having to interrupt the cycle as I did with my pop-up toaster. This door can also be removed to clean and is dishwasher safe according to the manufacture but I will hand wash this as some metals tend to discolor when placed in the dishwasher.I love my new toaster oven and highly recommend it for perfect toast and more.Update 09/21/2014 – The more I use it the more I love it. Tonight I baked my homemade cornbread in this oven using my Granite Ware F0622 Better Browning 8-Inch Round Cake Pan. It cooked in the same amount of time it takes in my big oven and turned out golden brown on top and completely done throughout.

Review: This is an excellent unit, and does everything as advertised. Racks, crumb tray, baking pan, and sliding front door all remove exceptionally easy for cleaning. The front-sliding oven-like door makes removal of your food very easy, without the risk of burning your hands or knuckles. And finally, somebody designed and manufactured a toaster oven crumb tray that is incredibly easy to remove and clean.A well-designed toaster oven which meets all of our needs. Well worth the list price. We are not disappointed in the slightest.

Review: The toaster oven itself no doubt would be great. It is compact and has simple easy to use bake, broil and toast functions. My comment is regarding what looks like a small bit of rust(?) in the inside of the edge of the door, frame. And what looks like a bit of a dent in the handle. When I contacted Amazon customer service, I was told that yes, this would be considered as damaged however I would have to cover the cost of the courier (min $26) to send it back! I find this to be not right, if something arrives and it is not in perfect condition – this item was $179.71 plus tax so just over $200. cdn. the cost to return should be covered. I was told to contact Hamilton Beach now to let them know, and will see what they say. Besides all of this the unit itself would be great.
